Fairy Tunics

As I said, the Darr fairies live in the desert in one huge city. When they leave the city they all must were hooded cloaks and thick tunics or else they would be covered in sand. But the fairies of Darr now wear tunics indoors too, with fancy designs on them. Why do they wear tunics while inside their homes? because the style of tunics for Darrs has evolved into a fashionable item of clothing not just protection from blowing sand.

Darrs wear long tunics to cover their feet, which are looked upon as the dirtiest part of the body. The indoor tunic for lady Darrs reaches just below the knee but a long skirted dress is always worn underneath. The designs that are embroidered on the hems of such tunics vary. If it is a tunic that is going to be worn while visiting friends, it will be more fancy than a home tunic but not as fancy as the tunics worn to balls and parties.

Here is an average tunic and gown for a grown fairy lady of Darr. The dress underneath is very similar to the young lady's dress of Darr that I have already posted.
